You’re always on campus or in your dorm room, maybe occationally you’re at a coffee shop. All of those places have one thing in common, free wi-fi. Why pay for an expensive data plan that you don’t need? Enter Wi-Fi First™ — Scratch Wireless’s trademarked technology that allows you to buy a smartphone, not a plan.

Mobile Animation

For the launch of the Wi-Fi First, Scratch Wireless app on the CoolPad Arise, we created an animated app intro screen inspired by the universal Wi-Fi icon searching for signal.

Digital Strategy

In order for design to translate to sales, we had to find a way to first introduce the concept of Wi-Fi First™ and ensure that the customer understood that switching to Scratch, that they are giving up their mobile bill. But like inception, once the idea is planted, it’s nearly impossible to get it out.

As a mobile service company in a highly saturated marketing It was crucial to have a checkout process as streamlined and simple as possible. Each product needed enough real estate to be “skimable” and allow the customer to make their decision easily.
