Let’s not beat around the bush here. We’ve been excited about this project since our clients at Democracy Entrepreneurs walked through our figurative door; looking for help in creating their brand identity and website. As of this past weekend, we’re stoked for the launch of both!

This project has a special place in our hearts. With the 2020 Presidential Election coming up, it’s clear that more people are rising to the challenge of finding ways to get more politically involved, and to better our democracy as we know it. Democracy Entrepreneurs is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that seeks to unite people—young, old, and from any background—under the banner of bettering our democracy through social and entrepreneurial means. We worked with the DE Team to position their brand as a true thought leader—one that can help foster the growth of new democracy entrepreneurs, and start leading the charge to bring about radical change—and design the brand as strong and bold, but inherently non-partisan.

We here at known.creative believe that design has the ability to influence and, ultimately, change the world around us in a positive way. For us, this project was just a testament to that belief. So with that, congratulations to Alan, Rob, and Jamie over at Democracy Entrepreneurs! We’re looking forward to doing more work for your killer organization in the months and years to come.

Even before graduating from Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2012, Chris Santoro wanted to start a kick-ass design agency. Fast forward to present-day, and not only has it happened alongside three close friends, but he's led the brand design for a wide variety of small to mid-sized companies and organizations. If he's not in the office, you'll probably find him shacked up in a nearby coffee shop or a ramen house.
